The winding is multilayer-insulated to a breakdown voltage of 1500 V or higher; the series covers DC 6-220 V with suction from 10 to 1000 N, so a 12 V variant can be sized from light actuation to heavier linear loads.
Twelve-volt solenoids usually drop into battery-powered or PLC-driven equipment where the actuator envelope, lead-out and connector are fixed by the surrounding machine.
